Frequently asked questions
What are the hours Axe Throwing is open?
Axe Throwing has the same hours as the SIK tracks.
Check the Hours and Rates tab calendar for any private rentals that would alter hours.
How long do you throw?
You can book lanes in 30 minute increments.
How much does it cost?
You can book Axe Throwing in 30 minute increments. Pricing varies on how long you want to throw and how you book. Prices start at $15 and increase based on time and if you book a guaranteed reservation or private lane.
For full details visit our Hours and Rates tab above.
How can I pay?
You can pay the same way you pay for any race, cash or credit card. Visit the front desk at your arrival and they can get you signed in and get a lane booked!
Can I add additional time after I start throwing?
There will be a 30 minute buffer added to your lane reservation. You will have the option up to 10 minutes remaining in your reservation to add on additional time. Just talk to the Axe Throwing associate in the lanes with you!
How many people to a lane?
Each lane has a maximum of 10 people at a time. You may be joined with other groups if you don't have a full lane, unless you have booked a small event or party.
Is it safe?
Yes! Obviously anytime you are throwing sharp objects there is a degree of danger, but we haven't had anyone hurt so far. If you follow the rules and listen to your Axe Throwing coach you will be safe!
It is for this reason that we ask that no one other than the thrower be within the throwing radius (the lane and five feet in either direction to allow for proper throwing range)
Are there rules?
There are safety rules that must be followed. A member of our staff will go over those when you arrive.
As for the Axe "play" it depends on you and your group! Want to just throw axes and see how good you get? Go for it! Want to get competitive and try one of the games we have set up for you? Just ask a staff member and they will go over rules and scoring!
What equipment do I need to bring?
Just yourself! We will provide everything you need to throw.
What should I wear?
We require close toed shoes, but other than that it's up to you! We reccomend comfort and looser fitting clothes that will allow you full range of motion.
Can people watch? Can we take pictures and videos?
Absolutely! People can watch free of charge as long as they follow the distancing guidelines.
Pictures and videos are always welcome! Again, make sure you are following the distancing guidelines and staying a safe distance from the thrower. If you post them, be sure to tag us!
